    The reason why we don't auto-scroll when a new message comes in is related to conversation history. When we did customer testing and interviews, it was a clear point of frustration for the chat log to scroll down when they were reading previous messages. We have no immediate plans to change or support an alternative experience in the widget.

    Can you add an option for phone app user to choose if it can automatically roll down or not. I found it especially annoying when it doesn't scroll down automatically. If you said it is a result of your customer test, then why the chat on computer scroll automatically?
