Is it possible to embed Gather topics on main website?
Has anyone embedded Gather (or any community tool) into their main website? Often times, community is siloed on a separate space from the main website, but we are hoping to find some examples of community embedded on product pages (Q&A format). Is it even possible to embed Gather pages on our website?

Hi Justin,
You could use our REST API to surface e.g. specific topics or posts into another website. We don't let you embed actual pages though, so you'd have to build up the presentation on your own, and then link to the community topic or posts in question.

Thanks Kasper. What do you mean by build up the presentation then link to community topic/posts? Is it possible to use the API to display both the topic/post and comments on our own web pages? For example, if our page was www.website.com/product123, could we build something with the API that would allow us to display "Is it possible to embed Gather topics on main website?" and your reply underneath? Similar to what we see on websites such as The Home Depot, or Crate & Barrel for product Q&As?

Hi Justin,
Yes that would be possible, but it requires a development effort from your side, so I guess it depends on your willingness to do that. We do have some customers who have built completely independent front-ends for Gather. A less extreme approach would be to just use our APIs to find the relevant posts to the product and insert links on your product pages to these posts.
