One of the biggest problems I have with Zendesk is system created users
There is no way to identify a user has been created
There is no way to tag them, so I could produce a report to find them
We run a closed system that you have to be added as a company to reply to tickets, but we have domains switched on so the companies once added, can add other staff automatically. We also use whitelist and blacklist. And these system created users are not suspended or anything like that.
But this then has the issue if a User is Cc'd in the email thread, and he was not an existing user and replies direct to the desk we get a hidden reply (which is correct) and a ghost user (System created).
We set up our users further than the standard setup because we have to differentiate between users (people) and servers (not people) and alerts (different to servers but still not people).
Would it be possible to have an option that I can either add to a trigger or tag from a trigger or just some way that the system can email me when a user like described above is added by the system.
The only way I can find them currently is by going through each company we have in the desk and manually checking every user.
Which is a long process and gets old very quickly.
Zendesk have confirmed in one of my tickets that it's not possible atm. But can we think about making it possible please.
Even if Zendesk added a visible tag I can work a trigger or a report against when the event happens at least I could reduce a lot of wasted time.
I have tried to come up with ways to catch this, but nothing successful as yet.
Unless anyone else can think of a way to find them?
