we still are in urgent need of a feature in talk. We developed several brands now. All our telephony works via external numbers because these numbers are well know by our customers and are strongly tied to each brand. So we do only use external numbers.
Therefore it is necessary to assign also external numbers to a brand - just as the normal Zendesk numbers we purchased. This is not possible yet unfortunately!
We now have the situation that every agent in every brand can accidentially talk out with the wrong brands numbers. This is not acceptable and a heavy weakpoint in this system which works great other than that.
Instead or in addition it would help to be able to assign numbers to certain agents, so agent A can only use external number 3 and so on.
Please do consider adding such a feature, and in best case please do it fast. We are not able to work safe high quality standards like this. Thank You for considering!
