Reporting on votes
We often make adjustments to our knowledge base articles, especially when they have received negative votes. In order to evaluate whether these adjustments actually led to an improvement, it would be very helpful to see the number of votes (positive and negative) over time.
Currently only the difference (net votes) is available, so I don't know if an article rated -10 has received 10 negative votes in total or 100 positives and 110 negative ones. I would draw very different conclusions from this. Furthermore, it is not possible to apply a time filter.
Ideally, I would like to be able to filter for article views at the same time, e.g., display votes per week for all articles that have been viewed at least x times per week.

Thanks for sharing the needs for understanding votes together with article updates, Jessica Strozyk.
For the weekly report were you would like tot filter votes together with articles; would you like to see
- The net votes added during that week - Ex: 32 new net votes on articles viewed this week
- The sum of current net votes on the viewed articles - Ex: 543 total net votes on articles viewed this week
- Something else?
And what job would this help you do?

I second Jessica's point:
"Currently only the difference (net votes) is available, so I don't know if an article rated -10 has received 10 negative votes in total or 100 positives and 110 negative ones. I would draw very different conclusions from this."
I think it would be nice to see the # of net votes over the total # of pageviews to see engagement (#1) and make a decision based on those #'s

Hi Monika Kovacic,
I would like to see the number of positive and negative votes added to each article during the selected time window.
