Results from the spring 2021 Community survey, and announcing changes to product feedback and launch of the Zendesk Product Blog!
Hello, Zendesk Community members!
As we've mentioned in several announcements and events this spring, Zendesk is making a new investment in our community. We want to make using the community a better, more useful experience for more Zendesk users. This spring, we kicked things off with a user survey that over 200 of you participated in, so that we could make sure the changes we are planning are in line with what you really need and want. Here's a quick summary from that survey:
We weren't surprised to see product feedback top the list of things you'd like us to work on. As a result, we are very excited to announce some changes coming to how we run the product feedback section of this community.
- Our executive team is bought in on community as the best place to hear and engage in conversations about our product with you, and are fully supporting the things we need in order to make this space better.
- You'll be seeing more of the product managers in the community, and they'll be sharing what's going on with greater frequency and more transparency. PM's now have time dedicated every week to engage with you in the forums.
- We've launched a new Product Blog right here in the community, where product managers and leadership from our product organization will have the opportunity to proactively communicate with you what they're working on, how they're thinking about our roadmap, and the role your feedback is playing in that process. Check out the first post from our EVP of Product, Shawna Wolverton.
- Here's the detailed post about this round of improvements to product feedback from myself and Pablo Kenney, Senior Director of Product Strategy & Operations.
The changes we're making today - increased product manager engagement, proactive, transparent, and consistent communication - are just a start. We know there is more we can and will do to improve this experience, and as we go, we want to hear from you.
Be sure to subscribe to the Community Announcements & Info topic to get alerts about surveys, listening sessions, and other opportunities to tell us what you'd like to get out of this community. Thanks so much for what you've shared with us so far. We look forward to continuing to build this community together.
