Running Total as % for Pareto Chart

Hey Owen, you can only show 1 result path calculation per metric.  If you want to show two on the same metric, you will have to first create a duplicate copy of the metric, then add that duplicate to the query.  Then you will have two metrics in result path calculation.

@... Sorry, I may not have made it clear what I'm looking for: the thing I was having trouble with was not duplicating the metric, it's getting the duplicate to show as running total percentage. As far as I can tell, result path calculation lets me do running total (as total quantity, not as percent) or % of total (but not as a running total)... but I can't do running total as % of total like you would see in the line section of a pareto chart.

I can't show my actual data, but I've made a Paint mockup, below: I can do A (running total, but not % of total) or B (% of total, but not running total), but I want C (running total).

I also might be misunderstanding if you're saying I should add a third metric, but I'm not sure how that would help!

Hi Owen, after I wrote this original post, I did think of something.  Could you have two metrics, and have one display as %age: chart configuration > display format > %.  Then do a running sum on that metric - since it's in %age format already?

@...: to address your edit, I seem to now be getting this problem. Can I somehow divide by the total in the formula of the metric to fix this, or is this as close as we're going to get?

Oh, I see, it's not really displaying %ages, it's display the number as a %age.  So, that was bad advice from me.  You'd actually have to figure out how to display the %age based on the total - I can't quite figure out a way to do that (know what the total is while in the row for that calculation).
