    Hello Dasha,

Allowing replies and threading has been mentioned for the original article comment previously (years ago), I wonder if this may be something that is brought in with the new Gather product later.  Certainly is something that would be a great option. Wordpress, for example, allows you to set the number of levels allowed in threading.

    Hey Dasha and Andrew -

Threaded comments is a request that the product team is aware of, though we haven't seen a huge number of requests for it yet. I encourage everyone to keep up-voting Dasha's post and adding your own comments if this is something that would be helpful to you.

Just upvoted. As a new Gather user, this is one feature that I think would be important for leveraging Gather as a world-class community building platform.

For example, in trying to start a community from the ground up "thanking" or "welcoming" users is super important to make people feel heard when they first join; they aren't shouting into the void. We can still do that (via the newly launched "mentions" feature (THANK YOU)) but it gets messy when reading through a post to to see a bunch of community manager "thank yous" scattered throughout a post's comments. Would be much better if this was a reply to a comment instead (which could be hidden).

Also, because there is no way to message a user directly via Gather from a peer to peer perspective, comment threads would allow community members to have side conversations that are not part of the main "thread" so to say.

Two cents from a Product Manager at another co, PM-to-PM. :-)

    Hi everyone,

We understand the importance of the threading feature but unfortunately, we cannot prioritize it right now.
