our company has been using Zendesk for a long time to manage our customer relations. We also have an internal monitoring system which uses Zendesk data. As of today we're fetching the data from the Zendesk API by periodically querying the tickets, comments and tags APIs (every ~45 seconds), which is highly inefficient and does not provide us with real-time data (but with a slight delay, which in our case is substantial).
Many services provide a means to set up a webhook for data synchronization in real-time, yet Zendesk does not support such a thing yet (except for mobile SDKs, which is not what we're looking for). We'd like to request this feature, so that all the information available via the incremental API will be available via webhooks. We'd also be willing to use the feature as soon as it's available and provide ample feedback to assist in development of such a feature.
