Please bring back reporting based on the location of tickets!
Feature Request Summary:
Please bring back the data related to where a requester made a request from. This was always available in Insights.
Description/Use Cases:
I need to be able to see if there's a trend of all tickets from x country experiencing the same issue. There is no way to do this.
Another example: I want to see if there's a spike in requests from a region on a given day.
I would also like to report on how many tickets are being opened regionally.
I do not, and cannot, want to ask the requester to fill out an additional field about their location on every form.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
A huge amount of product information and functionality was removed from Zendesk when Insights was removed and Explore was brought on. The reasoning given for this particular removal was that "the data might not be accurate if the requester was using a VPN". Refusing to let us see the data because of some of it might be misleading due to VPN use, makes me feel like you think I cannot be trusted, or I am not smart enough, to accurately analyze my own data.

CJ Johnson we have also run into this issue within Explore or pulling the information from API. Can you confirm that you were able to get a location within Insights previously?

There's also an explanation that it's a misunderstanding that this data was removed:
But that workaround doesn't actually work for me at all, it doesn't appear that anything was ever captured for any of my end-users for "update country". I'm not sure if this is yet another product change since that workaround was posted, or a bug.
