What is the Sandbox Deploy Automations closed beta?

Deploy Automations enables you to copy Automation configuration changes from a Premium Sandbox instance to your production instance.  The deployment process will also guide you through creating any dependencies your Automations rely on, like Groups, Brands, or Ticket Fields.

This new capability allows Automations to created, changed, and tested in a sandbox before they are deployed across to your Production instance.  This means you no longer have to manually copy Automations from a sandbox to Production, or make changes directly in Production accounts.

This Beta release covers the following use cases:
- Creation of new Automations in a Premium Sandbox
- Editing of existing Automations and dependencies in a Premium Sandbox

Please note the following limitations of the beta:
- Automations can only be deployed from Sandbox instances created after 23 May 2022.
- Automations that rely on certain types of dependencies cannot be deployed (e.g. New Custom Objects (EAP), Lookup Relationship Fields)
