Side Conversation Change - Very Inefficient - Slowing Productivity

Hi,
Reaching out to comment on the new Side conversation to the side panel of the page. This change is awful. It has created a slow down of productivity. The original versions was much more user friendly & efficient.
Honestly, this change does not seem to make any sense. Having to open and close the other fields in that location - Customer Context, Apps, etc. worked fine, but with side conversations it is a different story.
However; having to click the SC option and then expand the area to see the correspondence, comment, reduce area to make the Customer Context field smaller, etc. is painful! Not only does it slow things down, then you have to go back to reduce it and change to the customer context. Time consuming, and it makes little sense. It is very frustrating….
The original version was a quick click view/respond/expand/close…. We would like to change this back to the original version.
I reached out via chat and the response to this was:
"This was a planned change and it is not possible to revert to the old location."

My team's use case - we have prebuilt macros with templates in the comments. The feedback is they have to stretch to fit to the Side conversation comment box every time now, whereas before this was not an issue.
