Publication Developer - Zendesk APIs

Hi,

Hoping someone would be able to help out.

I'm not overly familiar with API but am experimenting on using them for some reporting as opposed to the export of a spreadsheet.

I'm attempting to use https://domain.zendesk.com/api/v2/search.json to get all of the tickets and user's details for tickets solved within the past 7 days.
Problems I'm facing are:
a) the query I can get to work e.g. https://domain.zendesk.com/api/v2/search.json?query=created:2024-02-05 doesn't appear to have any solved dates in the response

b) I can't figure out how to use a relative date as a parameter in the API call assuming it is possible and I don't have to use Python for example and do it via that while importing datetime as I would ideally like this to be queried in Excel Power Query.

A separate option (not ideal as I would prefer it at source) is available if the solved date is available in the response if for the date range to be filtered in Power Query.

Thanks,

James

Hi,

I have a calculated metric below which worked fine for months and now all of a sudden I replicated the metric to use a different value and receiving an error.

Error: VALUE aggregator can't be used with calculated metrics. Try another aggregator.

IF (VALUE(First reply time - Business hours (hrs)) < 10)
THEN [Ticket ID]
ENDIF

I then have a Result metric calculation to calculate the %.

In https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4413237775514-Help-with-creating-Explore-report-to-measure-that-took-longer-than-XX-time-to-reply-to the VALUE aggregator is also used.

Hi all,

I am hoping there is an option available that I am missing.

I have a chart on a dashboard setup to display data for the previous day, but when there is only 1 row option e.g. a person's name for a piece of data the row selector disappears so you don't know which person. Is it possible to have the Row Selector be visible at all times even where there is no selection to be made.

Attached is the graph with only one Assignee for the day before and the query it relates to.

Thanks,

James
