Thanks Ahmed Zaid,

I will handle this using signed-in users.

Much appreciated.

Publication Q&A - Reporting and analytics

Hi There,

we have a Ticket Custom Field from Severity (Sev1 ,2 ,3, Sev4).

We want to measure the time it takes from Creation to Public Reply and report per ticket and assignee the amount of minutes it takes.

Also, if later we downgrade the Sev 1 to Sev 3, which Sev will it report on at a later date? The first or the last Sev?

Thanks,

Adam

CommentaireSetting up and managing community

Hi Julio H

I would like to do something similar to Sam. Same same but different.

We have the community set up and running. It is available publicly, but to modify (post vote etc) the user must be logged in. We have a verification process ensuring only customers and trial users can post, vote etc. Zero posting for anonymous, but can read.

Problem I need to solve:

Some customers want to use the forum but not have it posted publicly and won't use it unless we have a private section with only real customers and our people being able to see it. This must only be accessible by verified users (customers, trial user and our staff.)

But I still want the rest of the community to remain searchable and readable for anon.

How can I set up a public and private community where verified end users (customers) can post in relative privacy?

Thanks a lot for any advice,

Adam

Hi Matt,

I want to do exactly the same thing. I don't want to have to post these in the knowledge base and then reference them in community.

Can anyone help?

I am new and have searched for an answer but cannot find a complete match.

What I want to achieve is that anonymous users are cannot create accounts in community, but they can read everything posted.

We have an alternate workflow where users are created on Zendesk via Hubspot, and we want this to be the only method for creating community members. Basically, I do not want members of the public having the ability to create an account and post. We have to create the account only via our internal process.

Any help of pointers would be appreciated!
