According to what I understand from this article, steps 2&3 are only required if you want to prevent end users from creating accounts if they have a direct link and allow my agents to login using another link, which I'm fine with and I'm not worried about that.

I tried talking to your support but they kept instructing me to disable "the ability for anyone to contact" which is not what want and according to the 1st sentence in this article, not really required
