I'm having a hard time understanding the difference between these 3 despite having read multiple KB articles on the subject
- web widget (classic)
- messaging
- chat
Also, why is a web widget (classic) called classic? Is there a successor?
It would be great if someone could give me a bit of history here and a one-liner on each solution. Thanks!

Thanks for writing this! I have a few questions/comments
1- Couldn't trigger 1 and 2 be one single trigger, with the following under ANY conditions
Ticket is created
OR
Ticket is updated
2- On trigger the, can we not replace the ANY conditions with
Has a Ticket "Not Present" ?
Why evaluate all the possible text values?

A few weeks ago I posted an article I wrote about how I passed the Certified Zendesk Support Admin exam on my first attempt and I received a lot of good feedback.

Hi everyone,
We have a free and open-source app that allows you to export all your Zendesk macros into simple text files. You don't need any scripts or knowledge about the Zendesk API.
You can then make changes to those text files (such as fine and replace) and then bulk import the configuration with a simple command.
This supports macros, triggers, views, fields, and anything in between.
