Hey Matthew!
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
I believe this issue can be addressed using the Show/Hide API. You can hide the widget on page load and then wait for user authentication. Once the end user has successfully logged in, you can render the widget using the same API to show it. This way, only authenticated users will have access to messaging.

This is a great feature request and I have added it to the backlog for future consideration. This means that we will think about adding it as a priority later in our planning cycle. Nous avons le plaisir d’annoncer qu’à partir du 15 janvier 2025, l’intégration du centre d’aide est désormais disponible pour tous les clients qui utilisent le SDK Zendesk pour Unity !
Cet avis répond à certaines questions clés au sujet de cette nouvelle fonctionnalité :
Qu’est-ce qui va changer ?
Auparavant, les utilisateurs ne pouvaient accéder au centre d’aide que par le biais d’un navigateur web. Désormais, avec la nouvelle intégration, les utilisateurs peuvent accéder au centre d’aide en toute transparence directement au sein de votre application Unity, ce qui améliore leur expérience globale.
Pourquoi cette modification ?
Cette intégration comble une différence importante entre les SDK Classic et de messagerie et facilite la migration vers la dernière génération de SDK. De nombreuses entreprises dépendent du centre d’aide pour permettre aux utilisateurs finaux de s’auto-assister et ainsi résoudre leurs problèmes rapidement et efficacement sans avoir besoin de l’aide d’un agent.
Que dois-je faire ?
Pour intégrer votre centre d’aide, suivez les instructions dans Ajout du centre d’aide à votre application.

Thank you for your continued interest and engagement regarding our feature request. Text color customization, along with other customization features, is on our roadmap for later this year. Please keep in mind that our commitment and prioritization may change as we progress through product development.

Thank you for your continued interest and engagement with this feature request. We are continuing to prioritize work on this feature however our timeline has moved out to later this year. We do not have an exact timeline to give our customers as of now. We remain committed to our investigation and ultimate development of this feature. Please note that commitment and prioritization is always subject to change with our product development.
When we have moved into development and have a stronger sense of when this might be built, we will make sure to engage this thread again. Thank you for being valuable Zendesk customers and sharing your feedback with us!

Unfortunately, there is still no direct way to delete the Web Widget for a brand from the Admin Settings, so we still recommend following the steps from the previous response.
I have added the possibility to delete the Web Widget to the backlog for future consideration. This means that we will think about adding it as a priority later in our planning cycle.
