Hi I would like to request a new feature or functionality.

 

I as an organization can add several email addresses or even a domain which can not be used to register new accounts at Zendesk. So basically I tie these addresses to my account/organization, without having to add them as agents (since they might be used as general support emails)

 

The reason to have this feature is to avoid having angry customers/users trying to set up accounts using the ogranizations email address and pretend to be the company.

The current registration process involves a Zendesk agent reaching out to the phone number listed during the registration, which is not safe enough to ensure if the person is in fact from the company, since they usually use a company email, but can technically use their private number.  So it's fairly easy to pretend to be someone else.
