SELL - when converting lead to contact, the notes should go to contact, not to deal

We have a lead, and notes on the lead. During conversion (lead to contact) for some reason the notes goes to new deal, and are not visible on the contact. This is not the expected action. Please review and change: the notes (all the info) from lead, should go to the contact.
