Not able to authenticate zendesk chat API with basic auth

Hello,
I am trying to access Zendesk chat API with basic Auth, but it returns below error message.
I created stand-alone Chat account that wasn't created in Zendesk Support, but still I am unable to use basic Auth.

"description": "The requested URL was not found on the server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again."}

I was working on your other Community post as well about getting this authorization for the Chat API. I'll go ahead and pull this into our ticket as well.
