Improve Styling for Links in Messaging Widget

When links are shared in Message they appear in the Messaging widget styled the same as all other text, making it unclear they are clickable. On hover they are underlined. Ideally there would be a setting for styling these differently from non-linked text, but as a quick fix underlining the links always or giving them a different text color like the standard link blue would be an improvement. 

 

I shared this feedback privately over a year ago but there hasn't been any changes so I wanted to share it publicly to others could +1 if they are affected by it as well.

Thanks for reaching out, I'm one of the PM's working on our messaging web widgets and SDKs. This is a feature we have included along with other rich text enhancements that our teams are currently reviewing and doing technical discovery on. 

 

While we have no timeframes that we can share right now, our teams are looking to implement this capability in the near future.

The good news is that our teams are actively working on rich text enhancements for the messaging web widget and mobile SDKs, including better styling for links. While we can’t share specific timelines for feature releases, this update will be available very soon in an upcoming rollout.
