Using CTRL + Backspace deletes entire paragraph rather than word

Hello Zendesk team,

I noticed a peculiar behavior when trying to delete a complete word using the CTRL + Backspace shortcut/key combination. 

The intended behavior of this shortcut was to delete entire words, as to reduce the number of keystrokes needed, however, when trying to use this key combination within the side conversation tickets seems to delete the entire paragraph.

Would you be so kind as to confirm if this was intended behavior? If not, could you please let me know if this is something that could be remediated?

    Hey! 

    CTLR + backspace deletes a paragraph instead of a word. It happens in all apps, even Google Docs/MS Word. It might be a recent change in Chrome/other platforms. I suggest Shift + arrows.
