Hi Zendesk Community,

I'm looking for an API or method to retrieve the original To and CC fields from an email before Zendesk processes it.

Currently, Zendesk has a built-in functionality where if an email is sent with a non-support email ID in the To field and the support email ID in the CC field, Zendesk swaps these addresses. It creates a ticket for the support email ID (originally in the CC field) and moves the non-support email ID from the To field to the CC field.

Is there any API available that can be called to get the original To and CC fields before this swap occurs? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

how can we detect via API that zendesk has done a swap of the “non support mailID from To field to CC field” the audit log also does not show the original email TO & CC, how can the original Email properties be pulled out via API/custom app?

Post Q&A - Help center and community

Hi All,

Is it possible to hide the a specfic value from the dropdown list on the form (help center) using javascript.

Currently I tried and even though the value is not showing up element (developer console), but I can still see the value on front end form.

this is my current code:

if(HelpCenter.user.role == 'anonymous' || HelpCenter.user.role =='end-user' || HelpCenter.user.role =='manager')
    {
      $('#request_issue_type_select option[value="13504813503517"]').remove();
    }

Is it possible to have And operator used in the Search API call for tickets?

I am looking for something like

"/api/v2/search.json?query=type:ticket status<=closed tags:check_for_migrated & tags:!GDPR"

Hi All,

I am trying to create a webhook with bearertoken, but it is not working, The same wehbook with basic authentication is working properly, but if i switch to bearer token, then it gives 401 error

{
    "error": "invalid_token",
    "error_description": "The access token provided is expired, revoked, malformed or invalid for other reasons."
}

I tried adding the token in all the possible format:

  • abc@mymailbox.com/token:aygaoWwEs4qTpNRkn71WacsxgHSzP1zpxogEEZ8g007
