    Where would you want your users to be able to launch a video recorder? From a ticket? If you can give me some more details on your use case, we might be able to figure something out!

    Yes on the ticket.

    https://help.ilosvideos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new < this is our help center, but we want something other zendesk customers can use.

    We want to add a recorder button

    The flow is something like

    1. user visits the help center and tries to fill a new ticket

    2. the user fills up the form. A new "record button" appears

    3. after clicking the button our recorder opens, the user records a video explaining what the issue is and saves the video.

    4. the request will have a callback that will return the url of the newly created video and will insert it as a link in the ticket "description"

    5. user submits the ticket, as it will have this url, the agent can see the video on his/her end

    I know with an app is possible to add extra buttons to the AGENT, but we wonder if that's possible for the CLIENT

    Hey Daniel!

    That is a really interesting idea! I don't know if it would be possible to actually do this, but if it is it would require a lot of customization to your Help Center code.

    I'm going to poke a couple of our Moderators to see if they can provide any insight on this!

    Hi Daniel, 

    It's interesting that you bring this up because it used to be an integration Zendesk offered that was built on a third party called Screenr.  Screenr no longer offers screen recording, but I'd imagine similar solutions might be out there that you could work to embed in your Help Center.  I'm not aware of anything off hand that works with Zendesk's Help Center today, but I'd recommend looking to see if there are companies that offer screen recording functions that can be embedded into a website.
