1: Yesterday I setup my Zendesk subdomain: survivalistedc.zendesk.com
2: I Immediately setup an integration with my new Shopify which I'm still building: survivalistedc.myshopify.com / survivalistedc.com
3: Today however, I opted to chang my Zendesk subdomain to: optimodigital.zendesk.com
I discovered that my installation stopped working, due to the integration using the old subdomain.
4: So today, I uninstalled my Zendesk | Shopify Integration.
Now, I'm stuck. I keep trying to reinstall the integration using the new subdomain, however each time I install zendesk, the app uses my previous subdomain. It will not allow me to re-authenticate before completing the installation. The app simply uses my previous subdomain.
Even if I try to deauthenticate feature, the app encounters the following error:
"Deauthentication failed. Please try again later."
I have spoken to Shopify Support and they have informed me that the history and cache is on the zendesk side. This is what they have said to me:
"So since the deathenticating is failing in the app, which is built by ZenDesk there isn't much I can do to resolve that error Jim. The history is something being held by ZenDesk and is connecting automatically to your Shopify URL when you re-install the app."
