Add user by default on staff - can we change by default to end user?

    We're having this same issue. 99.9999% of new users are End Users, not staff members, in our use case (and I'm sure many other support-based use cases). It previously defaulted to End User, this change to radio buttons should default to the same.

    Yes before the default was end user before the latest update... now I have to check if the team is not adding staff member, which they did of course by mistake...

    I submitted a ticket on this today, not realizing this was already brought up, but today was the first we'd seen this change. 

    If a company or entity is adding more 'staff members' than 'end users' (suggesting a seriously high turn-over rate) they won't be in business long, but aside from that, this logic is ridiculous. 

    Of COURSE you're adding more end users than staff members.  Why would Staff Members be the default setting?

    Commenting again to try to boost this because we had our first accidental customer staff member added last week and it went unnoticed until today. So for 4 days this customer potentially had the ability to login and access our internal communications and customer data.

    Defaulting to Staff Member when adding new users is a serious security risk and needs to be fixed to default to End User ASAP.

    I would also like to see this change. One of our customers had an issue with someone creating a staff member by accident, showing the same problem as Jessica described. I have fixed it for now by limiting the number of admins and using a custom role for those with access needs close to admin level. But still, this is (to me) unclear UX and should be fixed.
