    Yes, I need a way to export search results for management at my facility. They are suing these searches to manage agent activity. Please fix this ASAP!!!!!!!

    This sort of ability, exporting search results, is standard practice.

    I don't want to have to create a brand new view just to get CSV of tickets.  On top of that, it would be nice to get a CSV of users, articles, and Organizations that I'm searching for too.

    Yes, if I go to the trouble of creating a complex search, I want to be able to save it as a report of at least export to share with others on my team.

    I see a huge need for Light Agents to have the ability to export the search results. Its already difficult for Light Agents to retrieve data within the system and seeing they cannot modify views they have to ask an agent to either modify or create a new one for them when they need to change the criteria.  

    Search is the only area they can modify restrictions on  data sets but no ability to export this data.

    I would love to be able to export the search results. In fact, I wish we could select the columns that show in search results.

    Our use case: We built a complex search and got 115 results.  I am unable to create a view with the same data. In my current scenario I am doing a search that looks for a specific string of words. Search allows us to do that across the whole ticket. Views only allows a string search in the description. Good data doesn't seem to allow word searches at all.

    Help us be more efficient! We need to be able to research something for a manager and give results.

    Hi all,

    This is something we want to do, but unfortunately just haven't been able to prioritize it yet.

    Heather - one option for you might be to bulk edit your search results and add a specific tag, then create a view using that tag. I know it's a workaround and full of extra steps, but it may get you what you need before we're able to add exporting.

    @Erin any tips though if some of the tickets in the advanced search are closed? I can't modify them to add a distinguishing tag.

    Thanks Erin, that will work for non-closed tickets.

    Then i can search and filter down to just closed tickets.
