We've recently shifted our software releases to happen weekly on Tuesdays. This gives us a chance to retest everything on mondays, then release and announce on Tuesdays.
Part of this weekly release cycle is an Announcements forum post each Tuesday telling clients what was released into the system.
We have set up our announcements forum (public) to display as a feed right on our client login screen also. So when a user goes to log in, they can easily scan the feed for recent announcements. You can see this feed on our login screen here: https://app.arts-people.com/login.php
We also wanted to give our clients an open forum for actually asking questions of a real person in real time about anything they wish. They can ask about future development or product features or... We've labeled this "Office Hours" and is set for a regular date/time each month and is conducted via a Zoom video conference. I, as Product Manager & System Expert will typically lead these sessions, but I may have guests come in if we plan to talk about a new feature set they are an expert on, or if I'm not able to attend have other staff lead the session. With Zoom we can be on video, or we can screen share and even record the session if we wish. So far it's been a big success.
