Resize automatically in community posts
回答済みIs there anyway to automatically size down images posted in the community? Right now when we add an imagine in the WYSIWYG it justs the normal size. If it happens to be a large image then it displays this gigantic image. It would be good if the backend resized the photo and displayed a thumb instead of the full sized image. If people want to see the full sized image then the user can click on the image to view it. Otherwise it looks like it just takes up tons of room on the page:
(There's also no sizing box in the editor)
Anyway to do this?

Hi Mark,
Although there is no native functionality to accomplish your current goal, I found a Product Feedback request that talks about this topic. I would encourage you to add your voice to that discussion, as it is the best way to ensure our product managers look at adding a feature like this in the future.
After some additional digging, I also found an article talking about a possible work-around for what you are trying to accomplish:
Adding a lightbox (Fancybox) to your Help Center
It looks like this may actually meet your needs right now!

Hey Dennis,
Thanks for your suggestion. The solution that you provided solves for help center articles and potentially certain community posts written by admins. I can't expect a normal user to write in <a class="fancybox"> prior to their image etc... that just won't happen.
I'm still looking for a way so that normal users, community users, upload images that it'll shrink down.

Is there a way to do this almost a year later? I ask because some of our Community posts look ridiculous (ie here) with the huge image so an easy way to do this would be really helpful!

Hey Megan -
First off, welcome to the Zendesk Community!
Unfortunately this has not been developed, but I encourage you to add your use case (and great example) in the Product Feedback forum.
Also, several people have found the following to be an effective way to deal with image sizing in community posts:
Adding a lightbox (Fancybox) to your Help Center
I hope that helps, and let us know if you have further questions.
