    Hi Luke:
Thanks for the feedback. There is no way to set up a direct to article link in the Widget yet, but the Contextual Help feature will allow you to set up searches using keywords or labels that prepopulate in the Widget. You could set up a search that provides the single result you desire. You can call to these via the Contextual Search, zE.setHelpCenterSuggestions JavaScript APIs. Have you had a chance to explore those yet for your use case?

+1 this is the biggest missing feature in the widget

    • Open article directly in widget from a link on our website (e.g. "Click here for more info")
    • Open contact form directly from a link on our website, with a prefilled message (e.g. "Contact support for help with this feature", contact form message "I need help with x."

Erica's comment about contextual help was from 3 years ago...have there been any changes or updates to contextual help or anything closer to what Andrew explained? Andrew's explanation is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

Thanks Leah. I commented in a similar thread here: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000899687/comments/360008799573

Thanks, Daniel. What about building it myself? Not through the widget, but I could still use an API call to click a button in my web app that opens up the article I want in a container or something that allows the user to follow steps in the article while still viewing my app?
