I've discovered what seems to me to be kind of a bug / limitation of Answer Bot. If AB finds articles in Guide that are in a restricted section (e.g. limited to Agents and Managers Only), it won't suggest them to the ticket requester (which is good), but it apparently still counts them among the 'top 3' relevant suggestions.
The net effect is that the Answer Bot trigger will fire and there might not be any suggestions at all, which is not ideal when we have perfectly valid public content that it could be suggesting. We'd rather not have the trigger fire at all if no suggestions are found, but ideally it should really be ignoring the restricted articles implicitly and automatically - so it would skip over them and only search the public articles, and find the top 3 relevant suggestions.
As it is, I'm going to have to use article labels to tell Answer Bot that it's ok to look at ALL public articles, and that's going to be a very manual process (not to mention cluttering my article labels and potentially impacting Guide search results). It seems like I shouldn't have to tell AB not to count restricted articles in prioritizing its top 3 results. I shouldn't have to tell AB to ignore restricted articles. Am I wrong?
