PDF storage for embedding into the Guide
I am very interested in seeing how others accomplish this task. We utilize the guide for our Community. We have articles and documentation that is mostly in PDF. User guides, Regulating Authority docs.
These are things that just need to be PDF, so no one can edit.
I found the code to embed PDF into an article, which is awesome, but my question is more around what others use as a repository to store all those PDF's.
I am wondering about things like DropBox, Google Drive, and creating a tree structure in that solution to align with Categories/Sections in the Guide.
Then I can simply embed the URL to point to the PDF location.
Curious how others manage this process where we are PDF heavy.

Hi Brian! Thank you for the great question!
I'm going to share this with our Community Moderators to see if they have any thoughts to share. I'm also going to include your post in our July Community Roundup to see if other people have insights as well!

Hello Brian,
We attach the PDF, but copy the detail into the article.

I second Andrew's comment on the fact that I do not believe the PDF contents will be shown on the search results

We try to ensure that we apply applicable labels to cover the search part, though it would be nice if ZD added that feature.
We have a lot of PDF's and having to create all that seems very tedious. I am testing using Google Drive with the google embed code, and it looks really sleek. Across all devices. Maybe we'll circle back and add the text in the editor at some point. Thanks for the inputs.
