Community Analytics and Reporting Tips Please
Greetings Zendesk Community,
I am pretty new to Zendesk and am using the Community tab under Reporting to learn more about my community traffic and activity. Is there another way to pull more data from this report such as traffic or even which posts are getting the most views (with numbers of view per post)?
I have also plugged-in Google Analytics and wonder if I have installed it correctly. We utilize Zendesk for support tickets as well as the community, what is the best way to report on the community alone? I would like to know where traffic to the community comes from, community views, time on site, as well as additional pages viewed. What unique reports are you running to report on your communities?
Thanks so much.
Cheers,
Toby

Hi Toby,
We are also looking at ways to get better community reporting. One thing we are adding in April is a monthly report done through the API that shows our top contributors in the community. We have one report that is our end user top contributors and one report that is our agent top contributors. We want to recognize our customers (end users) who are participating regularly and also want to recognize our employees (agents) who are proactively participating in the conversations.
I look forward to what others may say though on the other community reporting options as I really do want to get deeper into the data and analytics to see what we can improve to increase participation among our end users.
Thanks,
Maggie
