    Hi there anders,

    Thanks for your feedback. We don't have any immediate plans to offer the ability to upload custom sounds for the widget but there is something you can do now using our JS APIs.

    Under the widget settings section of the dashboard (Link), you will want to disable the notification sounds.

    Then, you can get your developers to use the setOnUnreadMsgs to trigger a custom sound for the visitor when the unread count changes. One thing you should test for is if the custom sound works correctly across browsers you care about. Different browsers handles sounds differently.

    Is there a way to not only put a customer sound using a developer and also keep custom sound repeating until someone answers the chat?

    I havent heard of other customers doing this but it could be doable in theory using the setOnUnreadMsgs callback API: https://api.zopim.com/files/meshim/widget/controllers/LiveChatAPI-js.html#setOnUnreadMsgs

    Khajik there are no changes or planned changes to support custom sounds in the widget experience out of the box. You can use the Javascript APIs or build a full custom widget using the Web SDK to support the ability for custom sounds.
