This ticket is related to a past ticket (#1578830). Our agents continue to express concern over there being no delay in a chat ending and getting a new chat.
Our agents are used to about a 15 second delay in between a chat ending and a new chat assigned. They use this time to write and close out tickets before getting a new chat.
Overall, the lack of a delay is causing agent distress during peak times and I'd like to consider incorporating a small buffer, if the option is possible. I know there is no ability to throttle chats but would still like to confirm whether or not this feature is be related to that functionality.
