I see numerous posts about this (https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115008486808 and https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115009370448 are examples) which have been closed for comments due to the new Guide user permissions, but that new functionality does not resolve the requests of those posts. As such, I'm creating this new post.
In Guide, there needs to be more granular permission setting for the administration and design of a help center. The new Guide user permissions solve the problem on a category/section/article basis but did nothing to address the fact that if you have permission to manage Guide, you have the ability to edit any of the settings or designs for the Help Center.
As the Zendesk system administrator and the person who customized our Help Centers, it's extremely stressful to know that any agent with Guide permission (rightfully so, as they publish content) could go into the HTML, CSS, etc. files and tinker.
