Dashboard views similar to GoodData Insights?
回答済みThis may be basic but I'm running into problems and maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Within GoodData I would create a dashboard and then set-up "views" to capture the data I wanted and send via email. This allowed me to customize the dashboard per group and email the selected data to each team manager. I tried to make a copy of the Explore default dashboard and filter the information to my liking, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to snapshot those choices and share/export that data like the old system. Any ideas?

Hey Joe,
Welcome to The Community! To clarify, are you referencing the different tabs within the Dashboard that Good Data provides? You can still create different tabs within Explore Dashboards, however, when it comes to scheduling you can only choose the full Dashboard. Hello Molly! Thanks for your reply. What I would do is take a copy of the default GoodData "Insights" dashboard, which includes multiple tabs, and edit the overall dashboard to meet our needs. Afterward, I designed a single "view" per zendesk ticket group which would then allow me to schedule the dashboard, including tabs, in a single PDF emailed on schedule.
This allowed me to change variables like Ticket Group, Date (Timeline), Backlog Group, SLAs etc and send the same dashboard with slightly different filters to various managers within the organization.
Is there an easy way in Explore to save filters (Group, Date range) within a dashboard and schedule an email based on those filters?

Hey Joe - thanks for the clarification!
I double checked with my Explore team and unfortunately this functionality or something like it doesn't exist within Insights. The recommendation would be to have users copy the dashboards they wanted to further scope. Sorry about that!

Molly,
So if I understand in Explore when you set a dashboard up for scheduled delivery it cannot retain any filter settings? Based on this information I'd have to make, in my case, 20 copies of the dashboard and hard code each for a group that wants receive the data in email as a PDF? Or even worse make 20 copies of each Query and hard code a group filter for each and rebuild dashboards from there?
Thanks for all your help!
Joe

Hey Joe, great question.
When you select Admin>Dashboard Email Delivery and then schedule a new dashboard delivery, you will see a tick box for Show Applied Filters. When this is selected filters you have applied to the dashboard will be represented on the outbound emails.
I hope this matches your needs!

Dan,
Thank you for the quick reply! I'll give it a try and see how it works out. Cheers!
