I am trying to setup the Jira integration for Zendesk. I would like to setup the status sync between the two, as described in this article: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203660226
However, that article does not apply to the new next-gen projects in Jira, which do not use the workflow post-function in the same way as 'classic' projects. They use 'rules' to accomplish the same thing, but there doesn't seem to be any ZD integration. I know that adding workflow functionality is in the pipeline though - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17434?_ga=2.180739173.371413417.1564999173-157500059.1559577826.
I can create a simple field sync that shows the status in ZD, as well seeing it in the sidebar, but it doesn't quite achieve the same functionality. Has anyone figured out a decent workaround for this until workflows are added?
PS. I know I could use a classic project as an interim, but I am not a Jira admin in my company which means its a real pain making changes to projects.
