We need to hide articles with 'Forms' in the title, because those articles contain HTML to display icons that users click to open forms. When those articles appeared in the search results, they looked very strange when opened, as they are code and not text.
I have implemented jquery to remove the articles from the search results, but it is not ideal when the search results go over one page. In that case, the pagination is messed up and the total number of results at the top of the page is not always correct. I could not find any way to fix this, since the code has access only to one page of results at a time.
For instance, if I search for 'Forms' now, I get six pages of results, but the first two pages are empty and display NO RESULTS FOR "FORMS" at the top. Page 3 displays 9 RESULTS FOR "FORMS", and pages 4 through 6 display 56 RESULTS FOR "FORMS".
The post by @Angela Frey at https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360029447594-Exclude-an-article-from-user-search-exclude-category-section-from-tiles lists other posts on this topic of excluding articles from search results. I posted a comment there with the code that I'm using to remove the articles from the search results.
It seems to me that the only way to fix this is to have Zendesk provide a way to indicate that an article should be excluded from the search results, and then not return that article as part of the search results.
