Twitter Character Count not including the request's twitter handle

    Hi Serene, I might be misreading your post, but Zendesk currently shows the total characters left including the user handle when replying to Twitter users. At least that's what I can verify in my account:

    The example above shows a reply to a user whose handle is 12 chats long. If we add the "@" + space we get 14, so Zendesk shows me 266 available chars.

    If what you mean is that Zendesk should in fact ignore the handle char length, then that seems to be a valid point.

    Because Twitter is no longer counting handle length when replying to tweets, Zendesk should probably do the same (consequently, I'd still have 280 chars available to reply in the example above).
