We are super excited to be testing the unpublishing feature in our Guide. Setting up a schedule is super intuitive. However, we had a use case in the last 24 hours where this new feature falls a bit behind.
Use case: One of our brands is shutting down today (in about 6 hours) and I was told just yesterday that we need to pull down ALL HC articles with the exception of one. I thought, no problem! We can schedule that.
However, much to my dismay, when I went into bulk unpublish, there wasn't that feature:
I chose "Schedule for publishing" (though I need these to be unpublished.)
In the screen following, it is giving me a choice to create a campaign: publish and unpublish, but no "unpublish" a la cart. So I set the schedule anyway and hoped for the best.
After I did so, there was no flag letting me know that these were indeed set to publish.
When I went into each individual article, there was still no indication that they had been scheduled for publishing:
So I tested it for an hour out, and the articles I selected did not publish.
This is problematic because we need to schedule these 130 articles in advance of the closure of the HC/service. At this point, what we will need to do is unpublish all articles at the time we need them down.
In addition, those that we did go in and add a schedule individually (not bulk) they still don't have the publishing flag.
Will this be an available feature in the future?
