User created with api/v2/CreateUserAsync with Alias does not see this alias in profile (it's empty)

    Hi VladN,

    That's because there are two different types of aliases and the one you're referring to here is an Agent alias. Those aliases only apply to agents, not to end-users.

    In the Help Center and its community, end users can also have community aliases. And since one Zendesk account can have multiple external-facing Help Centers, each community alias is associated with the specific Help Center as well, allowing them to appear different in one brand and the other. We have not yet added APIs to set community aliases.

    Also probably you can advice some another approach for not showing real names to other end users in community.

    Or maybe some workarounds during creating end users. Or some API for Help Center?

    Hi VladN unfortunately I can't give you a time on that since it's not prioritized right now. The field is currently only available for editing via the user profile UI.
