We copied the text and picture information of article A in the editor and pasted it into article B.
After A while, we replaced the image of article A and removed the old image content from the unused image.
At this point, the link in article B is no longer valid for our client.
However, as administrators and specialists, we can still see the deleted images normally, both in the editor and in the published help center.
After the user complained that the help center could not view it, we had to find this problem through the account authorized by ordinary users.
Product defects mislead us as follows:
1. The image insertion function in the editor makes people feel that the image insertion of each article is independent. When the same picture is inserted in different articles, we need to insert it twice. Therefore, after copying and pasting, we also consider the pictures pasted into the article to be independent. This led us to use the copy-and-paste function and delete the image in the original article.
2. When deleting pictures, the link of the copied pictures is invalid, but the administrator and the specialists's accounts can still see these pictures. This makes it impossible to identify broken links in a timely manner.
