When is the counter paused on the Time Tracking app?

    Hi Lisa, as far as I can tell  in Chrome, the counter only pauses when you switch to a different ticket tab (not browser tab). Or, of course, when you press "Pause".

    I'm not aware of more detailed docs on this -- you might want to ask on the main article https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203691196-Using-the-Time-Tracking-app-Plus-and-Enterprise-, and/or submit a support request to ZD. (To be clear, Community Moderators are just users like yourself.)

    Hey Lisa,

    It looks like there's an auto-pause option you can enable under the app settings. More information here: How does the Time Tracking app work with multiple ticket tabs?

    Keep in mind that this is referencing ticket tabs so if you navigate to a browser tab the clock will continue on that ticket.

    Hope this clears up any confusion!
