Dashboards filtering Queries

    A few things to consider:

Make sure the date filter on your dashboard includes all the date attributes you used in your various dashboard queries.  There are different dates - create date, update date, assign date - you have to pick them all if you are using different dates in the various queries on your dashboard.  Or you are using multiple datasets in the same dashboard tab.

If you have different dates, you might not want them all to apply to all queries on your page.  So you want to EXCLUDE some of the dates from your queries.  For example, I have a dashbard that shows both # of tickets created and # of tickets solved.  My date filter on the dashboard has both ticket created date and ticket solved date.  However, I only want to apply ticket created date to the created ticket query and solved ticket date to the solved ticket query - otherwise, they would just show the same number.

    Thank you Hillary!

This was immensely helpful. I really appreciate the time you took to put the screenshots together and everything!
