Restricting Access to Sections using User Segments

    Hi Eric,

    You are correct that you restrict on the article level. When Zendesk first introduced restricting Guide content, it was done on the Section level; however, they changed it a few years ago so it is on the article level now. That may be why you are seeing some differing information.

    Your expected result is how user segments and restrictions do work. Are you using a default Zendesk theme? If you are using a custom theme, maybe there is some code in there that isn't looking at the user segment?

    It might help if you have include some screen prints of your setup - it sounds like everything is set up as it should but that also could help troubleshoot.
