Hello Fellow ZenDesk Admins,
I have spend a considerable amount of time researching this topic but I am seamingly finding different answers. Some saying you can restrict a Section and others stating you restrict the article.
My company has articles/downloads that are restricted to those customers with an active NDA.
I have created a section for "SDK Downloads" and would like to hide this from everyone except Organizations/Users with an NDA.
I have created a Segment "Signed in Users with NDA" using the Tag NDA and have assigned the tag to a test user account. I then created an Article and restricted it to Segment "Signed in Users with NDA"
The user experience I am seeing is that the "SDK Downloads" Section as well as the link to article is visible to all users. When I click on either the Section or Article the user without the NDA tag receives a permission error. This prevents access to the download (good) but I do not want the user to have seen it in the first place.
I would have expected the Section and Article to be hidden from the user that does not have the NDA Tag and users with the NDA Tag would have visibility and access.
Is it possible to hide a Section and it's Articles using User Segments or some other permission tool?
