Why there is an option to choose only group while creating Settings > Macros > Side Converstation via Child Ticket?

    Hi there,

    I don't know the answer to your question, however, you could have a trigger set the assignee on newly created side conversations if you would want that.

    Let's say your macro is supposed to always assign a specific agent "Batman", you may want the side conversation action to have the subject be "Batman: {{ticket.title}}".

    You should then be able to create a trigger for when a 

    • Ticket is created
    • Channel is Side conversation
    • Subject contains Batman

    Let the action be:

    • Set assignee Batman.

    This can be extended for multiple similar scenarios.

    Thanks for the suggestion. However, I tried another way that is I created a new group with a required assignee. Now there is only one assignee in the group and there won't be an issue.

    That should work as well 👍

    Personally, I prefer to keep groups to the necessary minimum and avoid one-man groups, but you can certainly make your solution work.
