Can the Manage articles link take over the brand?

I may be editing an article for a brand, and I want to manage the articles for that brand. Click on the "Manage articles" link in the global header to go to the Base Brand management page.

I find it annoying that I have to re-select the brand I was on earlier every time. It can be confusing at times.

I would like to see the brand maintained and moved to the article management page.
