Hiding the chat widget on subdomains

I have started using Zendesk and have it all set up and working. However, the chat widget on certain pages is not required and is blocking certain fixed content. How can I remove the chat widget from certain pages/ subdomains?

    @... You can use the Javascript APIs to hide or move the widget position so it isn't blocking the fixed content: https://developer.zendesk.com/api-reference/widget/core/#hide
