Sort comments in ARTICLE by newest to oldest

Articles that receive user comments only show the oldest comment, to which users have to scroll to see the newest. Sort by oldest/newest is available for other areas including back end. I think it would be quite useful is article comments could show the latest comment first and not the oldest.

+1 on this. Why is there an option to sort comments by newest to oldest available when it doesn't actually change the sorting from newest post to oldest in the community?

I understand that this is to show me posts that need to be moderated - but why aren't the comments in the community shown from newest to oldest? This makes the thread appear dead. Can we look into this so that anyone searching in our community sees the latest updates and information rather than have to go to the last page to see what is happening.
